Narrowly missing out on the drop

17th: Burnley
16th: Bournemouth
15th: Wolverhampton Wanderers
14th: Nottingham Forest

All four of these clubs are likely to hover around the dropzone this season so their placing on this list does seem pretty fair.

Out of the three promoted teams, Vincent Kompany’s Burnley do look the most capable of getting results at this level, but they will have to tighten up at the back.

Both Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth have put in some impressive performances already, even though they haven’t always got the results they would have liked. Wolves do have the quality in their squad to keep themselves out of trouble so there is a decent chance that Gary O’Neil’s side will avoid the drop.
