Significant Change Expected For West Ham’s Fixture Against Arsenal

West Ham’s game against Arsenal on Boxing Day will kick off at 8pm, it has been confirmed.

All of the fixtures on December 26th are being televised by Amazon Prime in the UK and, with bank holiday timetables in operation for public transport, a decision has had to be made about when each match will be played.

As the Hammers and the Gunners are both London teams, it has been decided that a late kick-off is acceptable despite the fact that fans travelling back from the game at the Emirates will have to make their own way home.

Match-day supporters don’t generally get a lot of consideration, with television rights holders getting to have a big say in when games are played, so it is not a shock that such a decision has been made, but it is still a very disappointing development for those who are attending the match.
