West Ham manager David Moyes was pictured attending Wigan’s match against Charlton in the Championship yesterday, just a day after the Hammers’ win versus Watford.
It is believed that the Irons boss was keeping tabs on Wigan pair Antonee Robinson and Cedric Kipre, while loanee Josh Cullen also started the game for Charlton.
Supporters on Twitter have praised Moyes’ dedication but they are concerned with the quality of players that the club are apparently targeting in the transfer market:
Shows what the intended budget is then.

But he watched Dendonker & Maddison, then didn’t rate either. ?? Instead he bought @ATopLad ‘s favourite, BIG JORDAN HUGILL ???
I don’t rate Moyes scouting abilities.— SmokeyJones (@Gingerbr3d) July 18, 2020
Moyes has already had some success with signing Championship players after signing Jarrod Bowen from Hull City in the January transfer window.
Out of the two Wigan stars, Robinson looks to be the most promising with the American international having been subject of a bid from AC Milan not so long ago.
Kipre is more of an unknown quantity, having had a spell in Scottish football with Motherwell before making the move to the DW Stadium two years ago. Both players will be available cheaply, though, with the Latics currently in administration.
