Sam Inkersole Reveals 25 Year Old Is “Desperate” To Land Permanent Move To West Ham

Tomas Soucek is “desperate to earn a permanent move” to West Ham at the end of the season, according to Football.London journalist Sam Inkersole.

The site’s West Ham correspondent says the 25-year-old, who is currently on loan from Slavia Prague until June, is determined to make a mark during the final three months of his stay at the London Stadium.

Soucek has impressed during his brief time with the Hammers, but a hip injury has hampered his ability to establish himself in the first team. He did return to the bench for the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend and he came on for captain Mark Noble for the final ten minutes of the game.

The Irons do have the option of signing the Czech international for £13m in the summer, and much will depend on how much football he is afforded between now and May.

Noble, Declan Rice and Pablo Fornals have been impressive in the middle of the park, and Soucek will have a battle on his hands to get his place back in the side.
