Romano Confirms Club Are “Open” To Selling 15M Rated World Cup Star Who West Ham Are Interested In

Celtic are “open” to discussing the sale of West Ham target Josip Juranovic, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist claims that the Hoops’ decision to recruit Alistair Johnston from FC Montreal means they will consider bids for Juranovic:

It was reported last week that the Hammers were tracking Juranovic as a potential replacement for Vladimir Coufal. He is Croatia’s first-choice right-back, having helped his country to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Other Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Manchester United, were linked with the 27-year-old in the summer but their interest seems to have cooled in recent months.

Even so, it is believed that Celtic could hold out for as much as £15m to sell Juranovic. You can’t see West Ham doing a deal for that price but, if there isn’t a lot of competition for the defender’s signature, you would have to think his club will sell for a lower amount.
