REPORT: West Ham Target Brazilian Player Of The Year Following Scouting Mission

West Ham are interested in Flamengo forward Bruno Henrique, according to 90min.com. The website claims the Hammers sent scouts to watch the 28-year-old, along with his teammate Gabigol.

Both were in action as Flamengo lost out to Liverpool in the Club World Cup final last night, and Henrique is believed to be a target after impressing for his club this season.

The winger scored an impressive 26 goals in 46 appearances for Flamengo this campaign after signing from Santos back in January. He was named the Brazilian Player of the Year for his performances.

Henrique has had a brief spell in Europe before, with Wolfsburg, but his time at the German club was not very successful. He played just 17 times and did not score a single goal before returning to Brazil in 2017.

He has certainly improved since then, but it remains to be seen whether he would have the required impact in the Premier League.
