REPORT: West Ham Star Is ‘Upset’ At Being Blamed For The Club’s Poor Form

West Ham striker Sebastien Haller has reportedly been made to feel like a scapegoat and has been left “upset” for being blamed for the club’s poor start to the season, according to the Sun.

A lot was expected of the Frenchman when he first arrived at the London Stadium for £45m. However, after a good start with three goals in his first three games, he has now not scored in nine matches.

Michail Antonio has taken Haller’s place in the side since his return from a hamstring injury, and it appears unlikely that he’ll be reinstated to the starting eleven soon.

The Sun also claim that some teammates have been left “underwhelmed” by his ability, especially in comparison to Mark Arnautovic who left for China in the summer.

Haller’s confidence is certainly not high at the moment, but he can’t be blamed for all of the team’s problems. He has been isolated when he has played up front on his own, and some supporters would like to see him partnered with Antonio.
