REPORT: West Ham Could Make Late Loan Bids For Chelsea And United Stars

West Ham are optimistic about signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan, according to the Claret & Hugh.

Despite claims that the England international is not interested in joining the Hammers, it is believed that David Moyes remains hopeful that a deal can be agreed, if the player continues to have limited game time at the Blues.

Gallagher’s teammate Armando Broja is also still being watched. The Albanian was reportedly the subject of a bid from West Ham earlier in the summer but Chelsea decided to keep the striker. There is, however a possibility that the player could be made available on loan in the last week of the transfer window.

Claret & Hugh report that Manchester United’s Eric Bailly is another player being pursued, with the club looking to strengthen their centre-back options. Nayef Aguerd is sidelined with injury while Issa Diop has been offloaded to Fulham so a new addition at the back is required.

With Thilo Kehrer looking like he could be signed from Paris Saint-Germain, though, their interest in Bailly may cool soon.
