REPORT: West Ham Among Premier League Clubs Vying To Sign 20-Cap Dynamic Winger

West Ham United are one of several Premier League clubs who are keen to sign Inter Milan’s Joaquín Correa in the summer, according to Interlive.it.

Correa has, by his standards, endured a lacklustre campaign in the Serie A this season. In the league, he has scored three goals, alongside a solitary assist this season. As such, Inter are willing to part ways with the Argentinian international for a fee as low as 15 million euros (roughly £13 million).

Despite his uninspiring form, this would still be a steal for West Ham – especially when the Hammers’ poor goalscoring record this season is taken into consideration.

However, West Ham aren’t the only ones who are reportedly interested in bringing Correa on board. The Italian outlet also claims that both Aston Villa and Everton are in pursuit of the 28-year-old’s signature.

Not only this – he was also linked with a transfer to Sevilla, but the move ultimately failed to materialise. He has been a Sevilla player in the past, playing for the Spanish club from 2016 to 2018.

Correa is an adaptable attacking talent – he can play on either wing, as well as functioning effectively as both a number ten and a striker. He is a quick, physical player, possessing strong dribbling ability to boot. With his large frame of 6ft 2, he seems to be a good fit for the Premier League – but who will get their hands on him first?
