REPORT – United Keen On £50m Rated West Ham Ace But Will Not Make January Bid

Manchester United are interested in signing West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic but they won’t make an offer in January, according to reports in the English media.

The Manchester club were reportedly lining up a £50m move for the 29-year-old but it appears that they will hold off their pursuit until the end of the season.

Arnautovic is believed to be on United’s watchlist, and they will monitor the player’s performances between now and the summer to assess whether a bid should be made.

The Austrian international has been in good form this campaign, having scored five goals in 11 Premier League appearances. One of those goals came against United in the Hammers’ 3-1 win back in September.

Speculation over Arnautovic’s future has increased following comments made by his brother and agent Daniel a couple of weeks ago, who revealed that Chelsea and Everton were tracking the forward.

He confirmed that the player was happy at the London Stadium but was ambitious and wanted to play Champions League football.
