Slavia Prague will hold out for a fee in the region of €40m (£35m) for striker Abdallah Sima, according to Claret and Hugh.

The website claims West Ham are keeping tabs on the 19-year-old, who has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, but they may face competition from the likes of Arsenal and other Premier League clubs.

However, the Hammers may have an advantage in any negotiations due to the good relations they have with Slavia Prague’s board, following previous transfer dealings.

Both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal have been signed from the Czech club over the past year, and that will likely make discussions more straightforward for Sima.

Whether West Ham would be able to stump £35m for the Senegalese forward, though, it remains to be seen. They were prepared to push the boat out for Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri in the January transfer window, with a bid of €30m having been tabled for the Moroccan.
