Report Claims £36m Rated Napoli Star Is ‘In The Sights’ Of West Ham

West Ham have been named as one of three teams who are interested in Napoli midfielder Allan. The Naples based newspaper Il Mattino claims that the Brazilian is “in the sights” of the Hammers, as well as Everton and Atletico Madrid.

It is thought that the player’s valuation is around the €40m (£36m) mark, which is well beyond what the London club will be able to afford.

Irons boss David Moyes is said to have a limited transfer budget and it would be a big surprise if West Ham have any real interest in Allan.

The midfielder is 29 years of age and while he is a top-class midfielder, having been linked with Paris Sain-Germain and Manchester City in recent seasons, it is not the type of player Moyes is said to be looking at.

It is thought that the Scot’s transfer policy this summer will be to bring in young players from the lower divisions which the Hammers can then develop.
