REPORT: Chelsea Star Has Received ‘Offers’ From West Ham And MLS Club But Serie A Giants Remain His ‘Priority’

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has “offers” on the table from West Ham and MLS side New York City FC, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website claim that the Hammers are “looking for experience” ahead of their Europa League campaign and they have identified the 34-year-old as a target.

However, Giroud, who is out of contract at the end of this month, is said to favour a move to AC Milan. Calciomercato say that the Serie A club are the Frenchman’s “priority” and an agreement between the two parties is likely.

West Ham boss David Moyes is almost certainly looking to strengthen his options up front, and Giroud would make sense considering the former Arsenal forward is available on a free transfer.

It doesn’t look as though the Frenchman will end up at the London Stadium, and the club’s search for a new number nine is likely to continue over the coming weeks.
