REPORT: Brighton Close To Signing West Ham And Arsenal Target For Just 7M

Brighton are “closing in” on a deal to snap up Slavia Prague forward Abdallah Sima, according to The Athletic‘s Andy Naylor.

West Ham have been heavily linked with the 20-year-old in recent months, with Arsenal and Manchester United also said to have scouted the striker, but it appears that the Seagulls could sign him for only £7m:

There was talk earlier in the summer that Slavia Prague would only offload Sima for a fee above £20m but the Czech club’s failure to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League has left them in financial difficulty.

Considering the Hammers have been crying out for someone who can fill in for Michail Antonio when required, it is surprising that manager David Moyes has opted against making a move for the Senegalese international.

Sima’s lack of experience is believed to be an issue and it is thought that Brighton are even considering loaning him out, rather than keeping the forward to play in the first team.
