West Ham winger Grady Diangana made a very impressive debut for the senior side against Macclesfield Town last night.
The 20-year-old scored two goals for the Hammers in the 8-0 win over the League Two side in the Carabao Cup.
Supporters are very excited about Diangana’s future after seeing him in action at the London Stadium for the first time:

He looked so good tonight, it’s the first time I have seen him play and the group around me in the stands we’re all talking about.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has been keen to utilise the club’s academy since his arrival in the summer. The Under 23s now train with the senior players so club staff can assess their progress.
It meant that four academy players featured in last night’s win, including Diangana, Declan Rice, Conor Coventry and Joe Powell.
It was only the League Cup, against a very poor team, but Hammers fans are seemingly hopeful that some of these players can kick on and make a name for themselves in the first team.
Rice, in particular, has impressed in a holding midfield role this campaign, while Diangana’s brace could see him get more opportunities in the future.
