Reliable Journalist Tips West Ham To Make New Bid For La Liga Ace After 27M Offer Is Rejected

The Athletic journalist David Ornstein has revealed that West Ham are planning on making another offer for Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

A bid totalling €30m (£27m) was made for the Moroccan international at the weekend, but the proposal was turned down. The opening offer amounted to €25m (£22.5m) upfront and €5m (£4.5m) in add-ons but Sevilla only signed the player from Leganes for €20m (£18m) in the summer.

With En-Nesyri having scored 12 goals in 17 appearances since his move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, the Hammers may have to significantly increase the amount they are willing to pay for the 23-year-old.

The Moroccan has been linked with Arsenal and Brighton over the past couple of years and West Ham have also looked at the striker in the past before deciding against making a bid for the player.

After selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax, though, the Irons have very few options up front and it seems they have identified En-Nesyri as their number one target.
