Reliable Journalist Confirms West Ham Could ‘Push The Boat Out’ To Sign 60M Rated England Ace

West Ham’s interest in Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is serious and manager David Moyes could “push the boat out” to sign the England international, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

The reporter, who is usually quite reliable when it comes to transfers, claims that Calvert-Lewin’s £60m price tag is seen as being too high but, if Everton do decide to lower their demands either this month or in the summer, the Hammers will make their move.

Whether that will happen, it remains to be seen. The Merseyside club do need to balance their books due to Financial Fairplay rules but Calvert-Lewin has also been linked to other Premier League teams.

Arsenal are said to be keeping tabs on the 24-year-old as they look for a new number nine, while Manchester United have been mentioned as potential suitors over the last year.

Whether West Ham will decide to make an offer for another forward, if Calvert-Lewin’s asking price doesn’t come down, we shall have to wait and see.
