Real Madrid Have ‘Enquired’ About Signing 30M Rated West Ham Target

Real Madrid have “enquired about the availability” of Chelsea striker Armando Broja, according to the Evening Standard.

West Ham have already had a £30m bid knocked back for the Albanian international but interest from the La Liga champions could complicate matters even further.

Broja was a key target for Hammers boss David Moyes but the decision to recruit Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo has led to question marks over whether the London club still want the forward.

However, the Evening Standard believe West Ham retain an interest in signing Broja on loan, along with Newcastle and Everton, so a lot will depend on what Chelsea decide to do.

As things stand, it is thought that Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel wants the 20-year-old to be part of the first-team squad for the new season but, if he doesn’t get the game time he wants in the first few games, his situation could still change before the transfer window shuts.
