West Ham have reportedly made former manager David Moyes and ex Brighton boss Chris Hughton their preferred candidates to replace Manuel Pellegrini if the Chilean is sacked.
Responding to a question regarding Moyes and Hughton, insider ExWHUEmployee confirmed they were the two contenders for the role:
Yep if they sack the manager but for the time being he is in charge ??♂️ https://t.co/6F1EXmf9sy

There were claims that the Hammers could be considering the likes of Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche and Rafa Benitez, but it appears that David Gold and David Sullivan have settled on more conservative choices. Supporters on Twitter are not best pleased with the options on the table:
Protests needed again !

Moyes may well return to Everton if Marco Silva gets the sack so Hughton could be the frontrunner for the job.
He is a former Hammer but his brand of football is very defensive. His Brighton side scored just 35 goals in 38 games last season. Despite conceding 60 goals and finishing on 36 points, they finished 17th, narrowly avoiding relegation.
