Prolific Bosnian Star Poised To Make Summer Switch To West Ham

Roma striker Edin Dzeko could be on his way to West Ham in the summer, according to Leggo (via Sport Witness).

The Bosnian has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium since the beginning of the season, but the Italian newspaper claims that the 33-year-old may have agreed a two-year contract with the Hammers.

Dzeko will have one year left on his current deal at Roma in the summer with the Giallorossi said to be willing to let the forward leave before his contract runs down.

He is reportedly earning €5m a year, or approximately £83k a week, with the Serie A side and the Bosnian international has apparently agreed the same salary with West Ham.

Irons boss Manuel Pellegrini managed Dzeko when he was Manchester City manager before he loaned the player out to Roma in 2015.

The striker was believed to have been seeking first-team football when he left the Etihad so there are no ill feelings between the pair.

Since arriving in Italy, Dzeko has scored 85 goals in 172 appearances, although he has been less productive this campaign, hitting the back of the net just 12 times in 33 games.
