As one of the greatest players in history, Lionel Messi is a talismanic figure for Barcelona, but do Premier League clubs have their own equivalent?

For West Ham, you would have to say that, at the moment, the title must go to Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian is the club’s most creative player, with the most natural ability, having scored ten goals and provided five assists this season.

Manuel Lanzini is certainly in with a shout when the attacking midfielder gets back to his best. After so long out with a knee injury, the 26-year-old was always going to take some time to return to form.



Hopefully, with a full pre-season behind him, the Argentine begins next campaign at the top of his game.
