Pellegrini promises further signings

New West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has promised there is an exciting summer ahead transfer wise at the club, whilst also assuring his relationship with the club’s owners.

The boss claims that the signing of Ryan Fredericks, a free transfer from Fulham, is sign of things to come – saying he is confident there is still much to be done.

The Hammers have been heavily linked with a number of top stars, including Javier Pastore and Jack Wilshere, and Pellegrini insists he has full backing from the board.

“I speak to Mr Sullivan regularly and we are in agreement about our approach to bringing new players to the club this summer,” said Pellegrini, speaking in an exclusive interview with Mirror Football.

“We have already completed one very exciting signing with Ryan Fredericks coming to the club and we are working hard to bring more to West Ham for the supporters.

“I need to make it clear that there is absolutely no problem.

“I have been made to feel welcome by everyone at West Ham since my arrival. I already have a very good relationship with the two chairmen.”
