Declan Rice has rejected two contract offers from West Ham as they fall well short of matching the top earners at the club, according to reports in England.
If the Hammers are to keep the 22-year-old away from the clutches of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, it is believed they will need to give him a substantial wage rise.

There have been conflicting messages from journalists, with some claiming that Rice does want to move to a club playing in the Champions League, while others say he won’t force an exit from the London Stadium.
What matters most, though, is whether West Ham receive a bid close to their £100m asking price. At this stage, though, they have received no official offers from interested teams.
