Manchester United have been tipped to make a bid of £90m or more for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. Other teams like Chelsea have also been linked with the 20-year-old in recent months but reports of the Red Devils’ interest refuse to go away.
On Twitter, supporters have been debating whether they would consider selling Rice for any price, and there were quite a few differing opinions:
No chance we will sell in January – also there is a decent chance we will be above both Utd and Chelsea at that point.

£100m MINIMUM he’s like an English Makelele!!

It’s not up to us – Rice will want to go eventually and the club will take what they can or run down his contract which they won’t do

I am amazed that he is even linked to Man Utd ! They are a team in transition, they are not the force they were under Fergie , why would he waste his time going there ? , there not even a top 4 club anymore , we outplayed them twice last season

No no no no NO. We must NOT becoming a selling club. He’s worth more to us than that. People need to stop thinking that a quick quid is the answer. If we sell him, we may aswell all give up of aspiring to be near the top of the league. Yes £90m is a lot now but think long term⚒

Realistically how much do you think we could get for him he’s got to be in the £80 mill bracket at least

If he goes for big money and works flat out in the meantime, can't disrespect him for that. He's got to earn it though, can't fault him so far

If we get £90 Million for him I think it would be good business for us.
We can get 2 or 3 quality Centre mids for that. Wilshere is finished Sanchez is too old . Sometimes when certain clubs come calling you have to say yes as a player. Just not Chelsea— Mike Oxlong (@MickyTayker) 10 September 2019
Rice has made it clear in recent days that he is happy to stay with the Hammers for the foreseeable future. In an interview last week, the midfielder did not rule out a move away from the London Stadium and that appears to have prompted the latest claims about United.
West Ham may have to fend off bids for the player if he continues to progress, but what seems clear is the midfielder will not look to force through a move, even if one of the so-called ‘big six’ come calling.
