West Ham manager David Moyes will want to build on the momentum gained from the 3-2 win over Chelsea in the London derby during the week.
However, the Hammers boss has a number of fitness concerns going into the match against Newcastle tomorrow. Sebastien Haller (hip), Arthur Masuaku (ankle) and Felipe Anderson (muscular) all face fitness tests ahead of the game at St James’ Park.
Captain Mark Noble missed the victory over Chelsea due to a hamstring problem and he is a doubt for the clash versus the Magpies. Robert Snodgrass is also out of contention with a back injury.
West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Newcastle:
Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Bowen, Antonio, Lanzini
Newcastle manager Steve Bruce is sweating over the fitness of captain Jamaal Lascelles who has an ankle injury, while Javier Manquillo is also struggling with a muscular problem. Joelinton is a doubt with a calf injury, while Sean Longstaff is unlikely to feature due to a thigh issue.
Defenders Ciaran Clark (ankle) and Florian Lejeune (thigh) are both long-term injury absentees and won’t be available tomorrow.
Newcastle’s Predicted XI:
Dubravka, Krafth, Fernandez, Lascelles, Rose, Hayden, Shelvey, Bentaleb, Almiron, Gayle, Saint-Maximin
The bookies can’t split the two teams. Betway are pricing Newcastle at 7/4 for the win. A draw is 47/20 with Unibet while a West Ham victory is 7/4 at Betfair.
