West Ham manager David Moyes is considering whether to revive a move for Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri, according to reports in the Spanish media.
It was reported earlier this week that Sevilla are now prepared to accept a bid that is lower than what the Hammers offered for the 25-year-old back in the 2021 January transfer window.
At the time, neither En-Nesyri nor Sevilla were willing to entertain a move, with the player’s excellent form also attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal.
However, since then, injuries and poor performance have led to the striker’s stock falling sharply. The Moroccan, who has 48 caps for his country, only managed to score five goals in all competitions last season.
Moyes clearly sees something in En-Nesyri, though, if he is still prepared to make a bid for the player. We shall see if a formal approach is made in the coming days and weeks.
