Meeting Date Set As West Ham Wait To Learn Whether They Can Secure Deal For 30M Rated Forward

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hold face-to-face talks with Jesse Lingard about his future on Bank Holiday weekend at the end of this month, according to reports in England.

The Red Devils are believed to be keen to sell the forward for £30m this summer, after his excellent loan spell with West Ham, and the outcome of the discussions should lead to a final decision on whether the player will leave Old Trafford.

Lingard has not only been linked with the Hammers in recent months, though. Arsenal have been mentioned as a possible destination, while there have also been claims that the 28-year-old could be used in United’s bid for Harry Kane.

The player does have only one year remaining on his contract with his parent club, though, and ultimately he will have the final say on his future. Whether he’ll end up staying at the London Stadium, we shall have to wait and see.
