“Maybe It’s A Tactic…” Insider Suggests West Ham Could Be Putting Pressure On Chelsea With 35.5M Offer

West Ham could be stepping up their attempts to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca in order to force Chelsea into responding to their £30m bid for Armando Broja, according to ExWHUemployee.

The insider claims he is not sure why the Hammers are pressing ahead with their plans to recruit Scamacca for £35.5m, when Broja is still believed to be the number one target:

There has been a theory that West Ham could look to sign Scamacca and loan Broja, but Ex has said the Irons are not interested in recruiting the Albanian international on a temporary basis:

The Scamacca deal does look to be much more straightforward to get over the line. While Broja is believed to be keen on moving to the London Stadium, his manager Thomas Tuchel has made it clear he wants the striker to stay.

With Scamacca, Sassuolo are ready to sell but it’s safe to say that there could be some way to go before this situation is resolved.
