Manchester United V West Ham: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham manager David Moyes said he wasn’t happy with his side’s performance against Leeds on Monday, despite securing a vital 2-0 win.

He will be hoping to see a better display when the Hammers take on Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend. The Red Devils beat rivals City last time out in the league but, following a 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the Europa League on Thursday, they won’t be particularly fresh going into Sunday’s encounter.

In terms of team news, West Ham have fitness concerns over five players. Ryan Fredericks is a doubt due to a groin problem, while Angelo Ogbonna (ankle), Andriy Yarmolenko (knee), Darren Randolph (hip) and Arthur Masuaku (knee) have all been ruled out. Jesse Lingard is also unavailable as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face United:

Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell, Soucek, Fornals, Rice, Bowen, Antonio, Benrahma

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has eight players on the sidelines. Marcus Rashford (knee), Anthony Martial (hip), David De Gea (fitness) and Edinson Cavani (knock) are all doubts. Paul Pogba (thigh), Phil Jones (knee), Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata are out of contention.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI:

Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, James, Greenwood, Rashford

The bookmakers have made United the favourites with Betfair pricing them at 20/23 for the win. A draw is 13/5 with Unibet while a victory for West Ham is currently 7/2 at William Hill.

Predicted Score – 0-0
