West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko scored a superb opening goal against Manchester United as the Hammers came out 2-0 winners at the London Stadium.
The Ukrainian international took one touch after gathering a Felipe Anderson pass before hitting a sublime left-footed strike into the bottom corner of the goal.
Fans on Twitter are very happy with Yarmolenko’s form and are delighted that he has returned to his best after recovering from a long-term injury:
For a man that’s missed best part of his 1st season, with a terrible injury,he really is making up for lost time in his 2nd season, great stuff,COYI.

Absolutely awesome, buddy. To bounce back from that horrible injury last season, and contribute what you have this season, is amazing. What a guy ??⚒️

Yarmolenko spent the best part of nine months on the sidelines with an Achilles injury, but he’s performing at his best level at the moment, with his strike against United making it two goals in five appearances this campaign.
The 29-year-old also showed the defensive side of his game with an excellent block from Jesse Lingard to prevent United from getting back into the match. West Ham supporters will be hoping he keeps up this excellent form.
