West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna is expected to be fit to face Sheffield United after the international break, according to insider ExWHUemployee.
The 32-year-old tweaked his groin in the 1-0 win over Fulham last weekend, and he subsequently pulled out of the Italy squad as a precaution, but the centre-back is now believed to be back in training ahead of next Sunday’s game at Bramall Lane:
Ogbonna took part in training today apparently so should be well on track for this ? https://t.co/oYlDMq5i5C

Supporters on Twitter are very happy that Ogbonna is poised to return to action so quickly, with the Italian having performed consistently well for the Hammers at the start of the season:
Love to see it

Good to hear. He’s on my early shortlist for Hammer of the Year.

Ogbonna’s performances over the past eighteen months have made him a vital player for West Ham so it would have been a big blow if he wasn’t fit for the clash against the Blades.
Whether the Irons will get another boost with Michail Antonio returning from a hamstring injury, we shall have to wait and see. The 30-year-old is working hard to get back fit after missing the last two games.
