Liverpool V West Ham: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Things don’t get any easier for West Ham as they follow a trip to the Etihad with an away game at Anfield on Monday night. It’s a nightmare run of fixtures for manager David Moyes who is looking to steer the club away from the relegation zone.

The Hammers will be without right-back Ryan Fredericks who damaged shoulder ligaments in the 2-0 defeat to City on Wednesday. It is not yet known how long the 27-year-old will be out for.

Andriy Yarmolenko remains unavailable due to a thigh injury, but the Ukrainian is closing in on a return to first-team action. However, there is no return date for Jack Wilshere following a hernia operation.

For Liverpool, manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that captain Jordan Henderson will be out for three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid. Xherdan Shaqiri is still sidelined with a calf problem while Nathaniel Clyne is yet to recover from an ACL injury which has kept him out for the whole season.

The bookmakers have made Liverpool the red hot favourites with Sky Bet pricing them at 2/11 odds-on for the win. A draw is 7/1 with 888 Sport while a West Ham victory is currently 19/1 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 3-0 to Liverpool
