Lawrenson Predicts The Outcome Of West Ham’s Game Against Everton

TV pundit Mark Lawrenson says he isn’t sure which West Ham side will turn up at the London Stadium tomorrow.

The Hammers face Everton off the back of a couple of under-par performances. After losing 2-0 to Cardiff, they had to come from behind to beat Huddersfield in a 4-3 thriller last time out.

Lawro believes the Toffees looked good against Chelsea and they will provide Manuel Pellegrini’s side with a stern test:

“Which West Ham team will turn up this week, and in which half? They have been so up and down recently, it is hard to know.”

“Everton have been inconsistent too but I look at the way they played in the second half of their win over Chelsea before the international break and think they might be at the start of a little unbeaten run.”

The former Liverpool defender has predicted a 1-1 draw between the two sides. A stalemate looks like a safe prediction considering the inconsistent performances of both teams.

However, West Ham’s displays at the London Stadium should make them favourites, especially if you consider Everton’s poor form away from home too.

Marco Silva’s team have won just four games out of 15 on the road this season, with their last win away from Goodison Park coming against Cardiff in the 3-0 win last month.
