Lawrenson Makes His Prediction For West Ham’s Game Against Everton

Mark Lawrenson predicts it will be a tight affair between West Ham and Everton tomorrow afternoon. The TV pundit says it is a big game for the home side who haven’t won a league match since the beginning of September.

However, he believes the Hammers will put up a stern test with the Irons’ frontline likely to pose major questions to the Toffees’ defence:

“West Ham lost at home to Crystal Palace last time out, but I have been impressed by Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season and they will definitely carry a threat up front.”

Despite his praise for West Ham, though, Lawrenson has backed Everton to come away with the three points, predicting a 2-1 scoreline for the Merseysiders.

Considering Marco Silva side’s poor form, it is a surprising prediction. The Hammers have shown they are a force to be reckoned with on the road this season. They have not lost any of their four games away from home so far.

They won at Watford and drew games against Brighton, Aston Villa and Bournemouth, and manager Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping that they can maintain their unbeaten record.
