Latest West Ham Injury Report With News Of Michail Antonio’s Expected Return Date

West Ham winger Michail Antonio has been ruled out for up to four months with a hamstring injury, according to the Evening Standard.

The 29-year-old picked up the issue in the opening stages of the 2-0 win against Newport County in Carabao Cup second-round clash last month.

Antonio is not expected to be back before the beginning of January, with the match against Bournemouth on New Year’s Day or the trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United the likeliest games he’ll return to action.

In terms of other injury news, manager Manuel Pellegrini has an almost fully fit squad, with the only other fitness concern being Winston Reid.

The New Zealand international has not played for the first team since suffering from a freak knee injury in the 4-1 defeat to Swansea back in March 2018. Pellegrini says he expects the centre-back to continue with his rehabilitation for another couple of weeks before he returns to full training after the international break.
