Latest West Ham Injury Report: Updates On Zouma, Diop And Ogbonna

West Ham are sweating on the fitness of Kurt Zouma ahead of Sunday’s game against Chelsea.

The centre-back sustained an ankle sprain in the 2-0 defeat to Brentford earlier this month and the Frenchman has so far missed the games against Lyon and Burnley.

Zouma’s absence has been brought into greater focus after Issa Diop was also sidelined with an ankle injury.  The 25-year-old picked up the issue in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw against Burnley, but, so far, no estimate has been given on when he will return.

Initial reports had suggested that Diop could miss up to eight weeks with ligament damage, meaning he may be out the rest of the season, but the club has not confirmed the diagnosis.

Angelo Ogbonna is already ruled out for the remainder of the campaign due to a serious knee injury, so manager David Moyes may only have one senior centre-back, Craig Dawson, available this weekend.
