Latest West Ham Injury News: Updates On Ogbonna, Noble And Antonio

West Ham centre-back Angelo Ogbonna will have a scan on a groin injury this week. The 32-year-old picked up the problem in the 1-0 win over Fulham at the weekend in a clash with Aleksandar Mitrovic and Lukasz Fabianski.

Hammers boss David Moyes revealed after the game that he was slightly concerned about the injury but the club are still hopeful that it is only a minor issue. The defender won’t be involved for Italy during the international break.

Captain Mark Noble did not make the bench on Saturday due to a rib injury he sustained in training, but the 33-year-old is expected to return to the matchday squad when they face Aston Villa later this month.

Michail Antonio is still recovering from a hamstring problem. The 30-year-old has not played since the 1-1 draw against Manchester City and, while Moyes has said they have not put a timeframe on his return, it is hoped he will be back quite soon after the international fixtures.
