Latest West Ham Injury News: Updates On Anderson, Yarmolenko And Wilshere

West Ham winger Felipe Anderson is making good progress in his recovery from a back injury, according to the Claret & Hugh.

The Brazilian hasn’t played since picking up the issue last month after falling heavily in the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United, but he is now expected to be back in action after the winter break.

Anderson won’t face Manchester City on Sunday but he should return for the game against Liverpool near the end of the month.

Andriy Yarmolenko is likely to make his comeback in the same timeframe. The Ukrainian has been struggling with a thigh injury and has not played since the 1-0 win over Southampton in December.

Jack Wilshere has undergone a hernia operation in order to fix a long-standing issue which has prevented him from playing much of a part this season. There is no set return date for the 27-year-old but the player is hoping to make a speedy recovery.
