Latest West Ham Injury News As Pellegrini Provides Positive Update On Two Key Players

West Ham pair Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson are expected to return to face Watford next Saturday, according to manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Both players missed the 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday, but speaking after the match about the extent of their injuries, Pellegrini was pretty optimistic:

“I hope that both of them will be back next week. Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson.”

Haller is currently sidelined with a knock he picked up in the opening day defeat to Manchester City. Anderson had a similar issue but had been confident of making the starting line up at the Amex.

The only other injury concern is captain Mark Noble. The 32-year-old picked up a dead leg during pre-season and has missed the two opening games of the campaign.

However, the midfielder is expected to be back in training next week and should be in the matchday squad when the Hammers travel to Vicarage Road next weekend.

Other than that, West Ham have a clean bill of health, with Pellegrini having a sizeable squad to choose from ahead of the trip to the Hornets.
