Latest West Ham Injury News Ahead Of This Week’s Games

West Ham attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini looks set to miss the next two games at least with a bruised foot that he picked up playing for Argentina.

The 26-year-old played through the pain against Aston Villa, but it was decided that he need an extended period of rest, and he was not selected against Manchester United on Sunday.

Ryan Fredericks (muscular) and Felipe Anderson (knock) had to be substituted in the win over the Red Devils, but both injuries are not said to be serious. They are unlikely to feature against Oxford United this evening but should be back in contention to face Bournemouth on Saturday.

Winston Reid (knee) did not play for the Under 23s against Middlesbrough last Friday but manager Manuel Pellegrini does expect him to take part when the development squad play Sunderland this Sunday as the New Zealander steps up his comeback.

Michail Antonio remains out for the long term with a torn hamstring. The 29-year-old is likely to return at the turn of the year.
