West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek put in a rather poor display in the 2-1 defeat to Brentford at the weekend.
The Czech international has been off his game in recent weeks but his performance on Sunday was probably his worst of the season so far.
Soucek has come under fire from certain Hammers fans but the vast majority of supporters on Twitter simply believe the 26-year-old has played too much football:
Needs a break. Still a class act just running on empty

Soucek had never been technical. But when he’s not contributing in the box it shows up more. Not great on the ball but never has been. Looks knackered to be fair

Just needs some rest. Kral needs to step in.

All he needs is a rest.

I wouldn’t say shocking. Not playing at last years level.
He has played a lot off football over the last 12months

He’s clearly knackered been running so much

Manager David Moyes has also expressed concern about Soucek’s form so it may be wise to take the Czech out of the firing line for a while. It isn’t as though West Ham are short of options in midfield.
Either Alex Kral or Mark Noble are available if Moyes wants to change things up. Hopefully, if he is given a breather, Soucek can use his time out of the side to get back to the form he showed last campaign.
