West Ham have had a £10m offer rejected for Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash, according to The Athletic.
The bid, which would have been made in instalments, falls well below Forest’s asking price for the 22-year-old, with AC Milan said to be rivalling the Hammers for the fullback’s signature. The Rossoneri are reportedly prepared to pay around £15m for the player.
Fans on Twitter are not happy with the London club tabling such a low bid:

Cash has made 30 appearances for Forest this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists. He started life out as a midfielder, but he has been almost exclusively used as a fullback by manager Sabri Lamouchi this campaign.
West Ham are on the lookout for a right-back, with Pablo Zabaleta currently David Moyes’ only real option, but with the transfer deadline fast approaching, it appears they will have to up their bid for Cash or move on quickly to another target in order to bring in a new signing before the window closes.
