West Ham and Crystal Palace have shown tentative interest in signing Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to reports in the Scottish media.
Some have even claimed that the Colombian international could be available for as little as £5m.
Fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the news of the club’s interest in Morelos, with many disputing his price tag:
He’s nearer 20m and I wouldn’t risk it… just another enner Valencia

Morelos’s disciplinary record would be the major concern for manager Manuel Pellegrini. He is undoubtedly a goalscorer but he was sent off five times in all competitions last season.
On top of that, there is no guarantee that the 23-year-old could translate his goalscoring record from Scotland to the Premier League. He scored 30 goals last season for Rangers.
Saying that, though, if Morelos was signed as an impact substitute with Sebastien Haller first choice, it would make more sense, although whether the Hammers have the budget to afford him, we shall have to wait and see.
