West Ham won’t sell Declan Rice on more favourable terms even if Chelsea agree to sell Armando Broja to them, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The CBS Sports reporter says the Albanian international is a top target for the Hammers (along with Newcastle and Ajax), but it won’t soften the club’s stance on offloading Rice this summer:
A Broja sale won’t help Chelsea get Declan Rice this window. West Ham want Broja on a separate deal and won’t entertain a swap to reduce Rice’s huge fee. Rice won’t be allowed to leave this summer. West Ham continue to price suitors out the market with any enquiries.

There has been some talk (mostly among Chelsea supporters), that Broja could be part of some sort of part-exchange offer involving Rice, but Jacobs has pretty much ruled that out.
As has been reported on numerous occasions over the past couple of months, West Ham won’t budge on their £150m asking price so it is expected that the club captain will remain at the London Stadium for, at least, another year.
In terms of Broja, Irons boss David Moyes is known to be very keen on recruiting the 20-year-old, but it won’t be an easy deal. It may be something that is revisited later on in the summer.
