“It’s Not Impossible…” Ben Jacobs Delivers Verdict On Whether West Ham Will Sign Another Chelsea Player

West Ham may yet go back in for Chelsea forward Armando Broja before the transfer window shuts, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Hammers are now expected to sign Emerson Palmieri but, when asked if Broja was also still under consideration, Jacobs replied:

“I’m not sure now that West Ham would come back in for Broja, but it’s not impossible because when they were trying to sign him permanently they said when Scamacca came in they wouldn’t be giving up on him.”

A deal to bring in Broja on loan still looks like a possibility but West Ham won’t be the only team looking to make a move for the Albanian international.

Both Everton and Leeds are keen admirers of the 20-year-old, so the Irons may have a battle on their hands to secure the striker’s signature.

His departure from Stamford Bridge depends on Chelsea bringing in another forward and, with a deal for Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang now looking more likely, Broja’s future could be resolved sooner rather than later.

West Ham boss David Moyes also has a few other deals in the works, with reports indicating that the club are pressing ahead with attempts to sign Club Brugge’s Hans Vanaken and Spezia’s Jakub Kiwior.
