‘It’s Been Too Long’ ‘At Last Our Diamond Is Back’ – Fans Delighted To See West Ham Talisman Back In Training

West Ham attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini is back in training, the club have confirmed.

The Argentinian international has been out with a cruciate knee ligament rupture since sustaining the injury in the build-up to last year’s World Cup.

Fans on Twitter are elated to see that Lanzini will soon be back playing for the Hammers:

The 25-year-old was a hugely influential player for West Ham last campaign, scoring five goals and contributing nine assists in 29 appearances.

Lanzini is likely still a few weeks off playing, though, but many supporters will be highly anticipating his comeback to the first-team, especially as he will be linking up with the likes of Felipe Anderson and Samir Nasri in midfield.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has a wealth of creative talent at his disposal in the Hammers’ squad, and it will be intriguing to see how he manages to get the best out of all of them.
