West Ham are one of five Premier League clubs interested in signing Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, according to reports in England.
The 26-year-old played a key role in helping Morocco to the semi-finals of the World Cup, with his performances having been described as “absolutely magnificent” by BBC pundit and Newcastle legend Alan Shearer.
While fans on Twitter would be delighted if Amrabat made the switch to the London Stadium, many feel that the player will choose to move elsewhere:

West Ham are amongst those that won’t sign Sofyan Amrabat.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle are also said to be considering a move for Amrabat, while Spanish side Atletico Madrid could table an offer for the midfielder as well.
However, at the moment, it is believed that Tottenham are the favourites to secure the Moroccan’s signature. They failed in an attempt to snap him up over the summer but they are expected to redouble their efforts during the January transfer window.
