Insider Reports Why Two West Ham Stars Missed Out On The Starting Eleven For Everton Clash

West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell and winger Andriy Yarmolenko did not start against Everton this afternoon because of worries over their fitness, according to exWHUemployee.

Cresswell was a doubt for the game after picking up a minor groin problem in the defeat to Crystal Palace before the international break, and Arthur Masuaku replaced him in the starting eleven.

Yarmolenko isn’t injured but he has played in both of Ukraine’s games over the past week, and the decision was reportedly made to keep him on the bench.

The 29-year-old has only recently returned from a long term injury and the Hammers medical staff were apparently worried about his fitness levels and they didn’t want to take any risks.

Summer signing Pablo Fornals replaced him in the starting line up. The Spaniard has struggled for form since his £24m move from Villarreal and he has yet to make the impression many expected.
