Insider Provides Update On West Ham Manager’s Job As Club Are Linked With Serie A Head Coach

Verona head coach Ivan Juric will not be replacing David Moyes in the role of West Ham manager, according to Claret & Hugh.

The insider carries quotes from a source at the club who states the Scotsman will be in charge of the London club next season “whatever division” the Hammers are playing in.

We reported on claims from Italy in March that co-owner David Sullivan had made “contact” about hiring Juric and L’Arena followed it up with another report yesterday.

The Italian website says that West Ham, Fiorentina and Torino are all keen on the Croatian, who has helped Verona to eighth place in Serie A this campaign.

Juric’s side have the fourth-best defensive record in the Italian top flight, although they are not the most expansive team in the division, having scored just 29 goals in 25 games.

In any case, it appears Moyes won’t be giving up the hot seat for another manager any time soon.
