Football.London‘s West Ham correspondent Sam Inkersole has singled out five players who have doubts over their futures heading into next season.

Jack Wilshere, Manuel Lanzini, Albian Ajeti, Roberto and Winston Reid are all said to be on the chopping block, although some are more likely to leave than others.

Lanzini is the most likely to stay with Inkersole saying his departure is “highly unlikely” despite his concerning drop in form this campaign.

Wilshere is also not expected to leave despite his injury problems. There has been talk of the Hammers agreeing to terminate his contract by mutual consent but it looks as though he will see out the final year of his contract at the London Stadium.

Ajeti, Reid and Roberto are, however, look set for the axe if buyers can be found. The Spaniard shot-stopper is the most likely to be sold after spending the second half of the season on loan at Alaves.

Reid’s loan spell at Sporting Kansas City will also end in June so a new club will need to be found him as well, while Ajeti has not convinced manager David Moyes.
